Chance for social conditions to enter the youth football category to break the monopoly of businessmen, return autonomy to clubs and take care of the dream of the new generation of players
Context:
In the glorious past of Brazilian sports, players had soccer in their blood, persistence, drive, focus, resilience and many of them came from humble backgrounds. However, today, with businessmen in charge of negotiations, those who do not have a good manager and are from the outskirts of the city are left without many opportunities and often give up the sport early because they do not have the necessary incentive to compete with other athletes. Without a salary and only with a stipend that varies from R$100 to R$500, many end up leaving the sport to seek a higher source of income that can support their families. Meanwhile, companies and businessmen make millions off the backs of players and clubs.
Insight:
By law, social and racial quotas at Brazilian universities guarantee the rise of humble people to graduate programs that were previously exclusive to the elite. What if we created social quotas for football teams that were previously the preserve of the outskirts and are now the preserve of the upper class?
Idea:
Social quotas in the youth categories' selection processes, with players selected and trained via AI, to be financially remunerated by the Sports Incentive Law.
Execution:
1 - Special percentage of tax incentive, for the launch of the Social Quota Screening, via the Sports Incentive Law for Brazilian football teams.
2 - AI via app (Artificial Intelligence with Intel technology) on the cell phone identifies potential low-income players and through gamification and personalized training, raises their level, improving their performance.
3 - Below we will identify 11 outstanding players who will be part of a team that will be mentored by 11 former athletes for 6 months to carry out the selection process to inaugurate the quota system.
4 - We will invite scouts from the clubs to watch these 11 youngsters against their mentors in a match commemorating the First National Social Quota Screening.
5 - Tax incentive for clubs that register on the app to carry out periodic social quota screenings, in which the platform itself notifies and schedules these tests for the highest ranked players.
6 - Remuneration in the amount of 1 minimum wage (Brazilian) for players who enter the youth categories of clubs through a selection process based on social quotas.
